2023年も師走。コロナ禍から明けた猛暑の2023もあと1ヶ月を残すのみとなりました。
SPS2023が先週終了しましたがPIは翌週(11/20の週)も積極的な活動をしています。
11/22 WEDは"Get together for Robotics” がニュルンベルクから近いエアランゲン
で開催されディスカッションではPIチェアマン Mr.Xaver Schmidtも登壇し
意見を発言しました。
SRCIワーキンググループの活動は2024も活発に実施されます。

2022の成功に続き"Get Together for Robotics conference"が今年も11月22日 WEDに
ドイツ エアランゲン市で開催されました。 for Robotics"
39社、団体から約100名もの技術者もオンラインで参加しました。
標準団体を超えて相互にプロモーションを行う意見交換の場となりました。
今回はロボットのエキスパートとPLCベンダも参加しました。
ロボットアプリケーションと関連する標準技術をより簡単に使用する為のディスカッションも行われました。
ロボットの標準化と将来の用途に関わる分野のトップによるディスカッションでした。
ディスカッション参加者：
Peter Howard (President, CEO & Co-Founder of Realtime Robotics, Inc.)
Rainer Brehm (CEO of Factory Automation at Siemens AG)
Ujjwal Kumar (Group President of Teradyne Robotics)
Xaver Schmidt (Chairman of PROFIBUS & PROFINET International)
ロボット市場のトレンドと将来について意見交換されました。
製造での柔軟性、増大するAIとの連携、更にエンジニアリング作業とコスト低減の為の
協働ロボットとAGVにも言及しました。
これらトピックスではSRCIが決定的な役割を演じることにもフォーカスされました。
PIは2年程前にSRCIの標準インターフェースに向けた作業を開始しました。
このインターフェースではロボットプログラムがロボット機能をコールすることでPLCに書込まれます。
また要求されるロボットの状態をPLCにフィードバックします。

"インターフェースはロボットを簡単に使用できることをベースにしているので製造での柔軟性を実現します。"
この新たなインターフェースの最初の実績が既に報告されています。
代表的なロボットベンダではこれまでよりも少ない知識で運用できることが報告されています。
ハンドリングロボットでの事例ですが大幅なコスト削減を実現しました。
現在ではロボットベンダ5社がSRCIを市場で紹介しており今後8ヶ月以内には更に7社も紹介予定です。

"Get Together for Robotics"はPIにより組織されています。
標準化のプロセスでは
PLCopen (motion control)と
VDMA/OPC Foundation (VDMA OPC Robotics Initiative)
その他の標準団体との協力で進められます。
PLCopenは“Motion Control – Part 4,”の更新を管理します。
VDMA/OPC Foundationとの協力も進行中です。
標準化団体の枠を超えた連携とロボットプログラムのグローバルな調整が推進されています。
